DRAW-IT Line Drawings and Final Renderings

These are my line drawings of the elevations of the BANGALAY house
I found the intricate detail in the sloped roof vert interesting and the
floor plan revealed a very open kitchen/dining area which utalised
natural light effectively.

Thses section drawings reveal the structural supports and
the way people interact within the space.

These images are my completed set of rendered line drawings
for the Bangalay house, whereby I used the technique of smudging
with graphite of different grades to show the effect light has on
the space and enhance our overall interpretation from the original drawings.
This method was effective in enhancing certain aspects of the structure,
such as the strutual supports which were darkened. also the effect light had on the
space could be represented effectively, more-so in the sectional perspectives.

These two images show the progession from an un-rendered
sectional axonometric perspective to a fully rendered perspective
of the kitchen dining area. I used the same technique to render
the image as seen previously but chose to highlight certain
features of the space to enhance the aesthetics of the image
 - such as darkening the faces of the structual supports not facing
the light. I think the rendering is very effective in displaying the
effect light has on the space and enhancing our understanding
from the original line drawing.
