The material used for the contours was box-board
The frame was made from bulsa and the river
was made of aluminium foil overlapped with
a thin (transparent) blue plastic sheet.
I found this model very time consuming, whereby
it was difficult to construct the fisher house to fit
in the site model perfectly. More planning was
needed, however my solution of trees being conveyed
through arrangements of thinly sliced boxboard adds
an interesting effect to the model - separating it from
reality whilst creating a synergy with the materials used.
